Portraits
This is a collection of portraits I did of my friends while living in Birmingham. I think the more you know a person the harder it is to be objective when drawing them. At the same time, I believe you can then capture their personality better. Hopefully the pros and cons even each other out.
Collage
Being a compulsive hoarder of magazines has it's perks. Starting off with a blank page can be intimidating. I find chucking down some masking tape or texture jump starts the creative process. These are some of the pieces I constructed from various bits & bobs.
Illustrations
Illustration allows a lot of freedom as you aren't restricted into an exact likeness. These drawings are all tied to happy times... I love having drawings to look back on that remind me of a time or place.
